In November 2010 KME was commissioned by Kerry County Council to design, Fabricate and install a new pedestrian bridge for Firies village.

Strict adherence to health and safety was a priority along with the aesthetic elements of the structure

The welded bridge structure was tested to EN ISO 15614-1

Installation on site was carried out by KME and was achieved in 30 mins thus keeping road closure to a bare minimum.
